See us in action!
Pop Chorus was never intended to be a ‘performance’ choir, preferring to focus on the experience of weekly group singing sessions and gently building experience, confidence and repertoire. Inevitably though, we often get asked to perform at local events. Participation isn’t compulsory for members, but many enthusiastically embrace the opportunity to show off what they’ve been up to, and even some of the shyest and most reticent of members have been surprised to find how much they enjoy singing with their friends in front of warm and receptive local audiences! We’ve also taken to putting on some bigger concerts, which give singers from across all the choirs the opportunity to come together and present an evening of the songs that we’ve been working on and polished to a really high standard.
Wednesday 12th December
We’ll be singing at the Co-op Funeral Services Remembrance Event at Portman Road.
Thursday 20th December, 4.00 pm

Tue 25th December
We are delighted to be singing for Jam Community Pot in Stowmarket. This lovely community organisation will be providing a free 3 course Christmas lunch for around 100 people who would otherwise be lonely or isolated. We’ll be the post-lunch entertainment!
Next year will see singers from the choir performing all over the region at events including Jimmy’s Spring Fayre, Aldeburgh Carnival, Wild Voice Festival and Framlingham Christmas Tree Festival to name just a few… watch this space and we’ll keep you posted!
